Friday Night Project

We are very excited to be running a brand new project on the park in Hebden Bridge this summer for ALL young people aged 11+
Starting this Friday night and running for 10 weeks, we will be offering a different sport each week, kicking things off with boxing on 3rd May, followed by tennis on Friday 10th May delivered by Cragg Vale Tennis Club

Just come down anytime between 5-7pm to see what's going on, no booking necessary!
Reach4Ward will also be running their Girls Allowed skateboarding sessions from 4.30pm-5.30pm (younger girls welcome to this session!)

And the brilliant Skate it Yourself will be on the skate park til much later every Friday with their team of coaches and youth workers.

Here is the basic timetable for each week:
4pm - Skate Park Clean up
4.30pm - 5.30pm - Girls Allowed skateboarding session
5-7pm - Different sport each week, starting with Boxing on 3/5
5.30pm onwards - Skate Park open to all

MASSIVE THANKS to Hebden Royd Town Council, Active Calderdale, Sport England, Calderdale Council and Staying Well Calderdale for getting behind this project and helping three organisations to come together to create more opportunities for the young people of Hebden Royd.
