SAFEGUARDING
The welfare of the young people who utilise the services of Northern Powerhouse Boxing Academy is central to the culture adopted within the club. Our aim is to create a positive and supportive environment where young people can grow and develop and feel safe and cared for.
The board and the coaches recognise that safeguarding children is a priority and as such adopt the England Boxing Safeguarding Policy and standards. The England Boxing Safeguarding Policy details the types of safeguarding issues that may occur and how to address these. There is also a clear escalation process for referrals and the ability to refer directly to the National Compliance Manager if required.
If you have a concern which relates to you or your child, you may feel it appropriate in the first instance to talk to the coach / class organiser or one of our club welfare officers.
