of supporting our Welfare Officers to ensure the wellbeing of the young people who attend NPBA.

The Welfare Director will help to ensure a safe and inclusive environment is achieved not only for our young people and members but also for our staff and coaches. The role provides an opportunity to engage with your local community whilst helping to lead a progressive social enterprise.

About NPBA:
Northern Powerhouse is the first women-led boxing club in the UK, with a goal of providing opportunities to participate in boxing either as an amateur sport or to improve physical and mental wellbeing. • Supporting staff and coaches with HR concerns, working with the Board of Directors to resolve HR matters.
  • Ensuring safeguarding, HR, diversity and inclusion is on the agenda at board meetings.
  • Taking an interest in all aspects of the organisation, and supporting staff and ensuring volunteers are fully supported in their work
