Ages 8-11 yrs

This is a fun, non-contact class using boxing-based drills, activities and games to introduce children to the sport. It’s a glove-contact only session – meaning they’ll hit bags, pads or gloves, but never each other.

We want our classes to be as inclusive as possible for all children, including those who are neurodiverse. If your child learns in a particular way or has specific needs, please chat to us – we’ll do our best to make sure they feel comfortable, supported and able to get the most out of the session.

Spring Term (10 weeks)
10 sessions × £5 = £50
20% term booking discount (£10) = £40
The discount covers any missed sessions while giving you the convenience of booking for the full term in advance.

Session dates:

First class of term: Monday 12th January
No class due to Half term - Monday 16th February
Last date of term - Monday 23rd March

FUNDING
Any lower income families or those in receipt of Free School Meals can attend for FREE. Please use the discount code FSM at the checkout stage.


All other children attending kids/youth classes have had a £10 discount applied to their term payment.

* If booking for siblings, please book any 2 places and use the discount code SIB to get he second place for 50% at the checkout stage of the process.


Things to know:

1. Participants will need to bring a water bottle and some cleaned trainers to change into as grit damages our gym surface. Please bring your own gloves and pads if you have them. RDX is the brand we recommend if you are looking to buy some.
2. Participants should come dressed in sports clothing, not school uniform. 
3.  We are located in Hebden Bridge on Holme Street, between the Post Office and the Trades Club front door.
4. Our coaches are DBS checked and first aid trained. NPBA is affiliated to the national governing body for boxing - England Boxing
